Caring for your pieces
A few small habits make a big difference, especially for gold-plated jewelry.
Do
- ✓Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotion and makeup
- ✓Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing
- ✓Store each piece separately in a cool, dry place, ideally in its pouch
- ✓Stainless steel can be washed with mild soap and water, then dried well
Avoid
- ✕Water, perfume, lotions and chemicals on gold-plated pieces
- ✕Wearing jewelry while showering, swimming or at the gym
- ✕Cleaning with rough cloths, brushes or jewelry dips
